Originally from Minneapolis, MN, Nimmi is a proud Duke Blue Devil and Harvard Business School alum. After eight years in the corporate world at Goldman Sachs and American Express, she transitioned to startups as Head of Marketing at Plated, one of the first players in the meal kit space, which was acquired by Albertsons. She then served as Head of Product Strategy at Adaptly, a social media startup that sold to Accenture. Nimmi then founded the Blue Flag Project, a sustainable footwear company, which eventually led her to her role as the Head of the Venture Studio at Dyrdek Machine, where she leads both investment and operational efforts.
Nimmi lives in Santa Monica with her husband, two daughters, and son, where she carries out the most complex and important of all her roles. She loves music, travel, and philosophy -and is particularly passionate about coaching entrepreneurs and the idea of redefining success toward what makes us truly thrive.
