About me
Amanda Holden is a writer, speaker, and founder. After spending the first part of her career in investment management, she decided that helping rich men get richer wasn't her life's calling. She quit to start her business, Invested Development, with the goal of including women in conversations about investing and building wealth. She has now taught over 20,000 students—mostly women—how to invest. You may also know her as @dumpster.doggy on the internet, where she shares fun, free, investing education and her best "trashion" outfits. Her forthcoming book, How to Be a Rich Old Lady, will be out in January 2026 with Simon & Schuster.
