About me
I own Crystal Clear Communications, a PR agency that serves our clients with communications planning, media relations, reputation management and crisis communications. In addition, Crystal Clear Communications acts as a subcontractor for other PR agencies.
Trained as a journalist, I've spent many years learning what makes a good, relatable story and helping my employers and clients tell their stories by ferreting out what makes the story a GOOD story even if it's bad news. I've worked in a number of high-profile industries and enjoy learning what I don't know. My Superpower is my ability to connect with people by seeing the good in them.
A few things about me: I love the beach and being near water in general. I'd love to live on the beach one day soon. I am on a mission to experience joy every day by actively looking for it in all my challenges and blessings. I enjoy water aerobics and became a sub instructor at my local YMCA last year. and I'm looking for a new hobby and recently took roller skating lessons and flute lessons trying to take some of my interests of the past to a new level.
I love volunteering and my ideal work day includes the opportunity to serve and connect those in need with those who have it to give.
Things on my list for the future - understand the government's contracting system and win a bid, really learn to dance or get so comfortable that I dance like no one's watching regularly, and to publish two books - one career related and one about my mother's life story.
